This-Topia was a large-scale audio-visual spectacle and stage show that I toured with my band Meltybrains? in the summer of 2025. We gave several performances in Ireland, including two nights in Dublin's Complex and shows at Kilkenny Arts Festival and Sounds From A Safe Harbour, Cork. A visceral, genre smashing live show, it explores 21st century digital life through a collaborative ritual of fear, escapism, addiction, collective catharsis and transcendence. This was an ambitious project featuring visual artists and dancers and was one of my favourite achievements of 2025.
White Blood Cells is a series of immersive soundscapes and accompanying photographs created by myself and photographer Mark McGuinness, that was held as an exhibition in Dublin's Horse Gallery in 2024. The audio-visual work explores the role and effect of supply chains in today’s global world. The central theme of the piece is the West’s reliance on global supply chains and the negative impact they can have on people in economically disadvantaged countries. Utilising audio clips and samples, the six movements presented at the gallery bring the listener on a sonic journey through the network that makes up the global supply chain. Mark is a regular collaborator and we have worked on a number of projects with a social justice focus, of which this was the most recent.
The Line is a pseudonym I use for electronic singer-songwriter music. I have released two full-length albums under this moniker; Matter in 2021 and Red Blood Cells & Righteousness in 2023, the second of which was a collaborative record featuring Sorcha Richardson, Caoi de Barra, Godknows and many others. I've also released several singles and other experimental pieces as part of the project, including Epilogue.
I've been a member of experimental electronic act Meltybrains? for a number of years now. Over the last ten years we've released a large amount of music, which has been featured in the likes of Q Magazine, Boiler Room and Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist. We've also toured internationally and hosted some spectacular live shows, including a Dublin Fringe Festival show in the Abbey Theatre, festivals such as SXSW and Iceland Airwaves and an audiovisual show in the Pepper Canister Church in 2016, which the video is taken from.
For a number of years, I had the pleasure of working with electronic singer/songwriter Talos, the moniker of Eoin French. I worked with Eoin, both as a member of his live band and as a sometime collaborator in writing and production scenarios, up until his passing in 2024. This video is taken from the Talos Mahogany session, that was filmed in October 2022.
